LCA CH Forever Green's Indrik "Indy" is a mellow beautiful heavy-boned male, with a long reddish-brown coat and great presence about him. He is 30" tall at the withers and weighs 150 lbs. Indy was Winners Dog at the 2003 LCA National Specialty under Italian FCI breeder-judge and Leonberger expert, Guido Perosino. He was also 1st Place Open Dog at the 2005 LCA National Specialty under German FCI breeder-judge, Willi Gullix.

His mother, Forever Green's Delta, produced the 2005 LCA National Specialty winner, CH Forever Green's Keepsake. His father, CH Darius v. Alpensee, is a multi-BISS winner, producer of several LCA Champions (including the 2004 LCA National Specialty winner, CH Jamaica v. Alpensee), and was also BOS himself at the 2005 LCA National Specialty.

Indy comes from long-lived lines, which is especially attractive to us, as Leonbergers tend to have far too short a lifespan as it is. His mother, Forever Green's Delta, is doing well at 8.5 years, and her mother, CH Omega v.d. Heckenrose, lived to be 11 years of age. His father, CH Darius v. Alpensee, is also in excellent condition at almost 8 years of age, and Indy's grandfather, CH Mein Schutzengel Aristotle's Attitude, lived to be 12 years old.

Indy has an exceptionally gentle and loving temperament. He is good-natured, friendly to people and dogs alike, outgoing, and unafraid. Judges have called Indy a "nice, typy male, with strong body structure, masculine expression, full mask, and great expressive eyes." Indy is an excellent ambassador for the breed and we are fortunate to have him as a member of our family.
