Puppies : Previous Litters : Kalahari's A-litter : Week Two

They're all gaining weight nicely. Rainbow is now over a pound. She's otherwise perfectly healthy and exhibits all normal behavior for this age, she's just tiny compared to the rest! Pink is a little porker, and we call her Miss Piggy - all she wants to do is eat, eat, eat:) I have already had to change their rickrack collars twice so far because they have outgrown them.

Aidan got to meet the puppies for the first time. He seems very pleased about them, but not quite sure what to do. He looks at them with this quizzical look on his face, and his tail wagging a mile a minute. The cutest was when he tried to play bow to the basket full of pups - I think he'll have lots of fun with them once they get a bit bigger.

1/30/05: Pink girl was the first to open her eyes and some of the others are starting to open their eyes. So far, we've noticed Green, Light Green, White, Yellow, and Blue starting to take a peek.
