Leos at Work : Agility

Yes, Leonbergers can definitely compete in agility, and they absolutely love it too! We have several Leos that have titled in different venues, and one of our longtime Leonberger owners is also a licensed NADAC judge.

Puppy agility classes can be started as early as 16 weeks and is a wonderful socialization opportunity. Serious jumping, however, needs to be postponed until after your Leonberger's growth plates have closed, generally after the age of at least 18 months.

The Leonberger Club of America recognizes legs from NADAC, USDAA, ASCA, UKC, and CPE, towards an LCA Agility Title.
